On May 3, 2021 Kendra Odums, 22, was arrested, charged with shooing a 24-year-old man in the head at an apartment in Cherryville, NC.
Officers were called to an apartment located on Heather Lane in reference to a shooting.
Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported to CaroMont Regional Medical Center and then he was transferred to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC where he remains in critical condition.
Kendra was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.
It is unknown what led to the shooting.
