Leslie was involved in a fatal motor vehicle crash on July 1, 2022 at approximately 5:38 a.m. The crash was at the intersection of North Sharon Amity Rd. and Central Avenue.
A male victim was crossing North Sharon Amity within a crosswalk when he was struck by a 2014 Nissan vehicle driven by Leslie. The Nissan entered the intersection allegedly at a high rate of speed while running a red light officials say.
The male was knocked unconscious on impact. Paramedics arrived on scene and pronounced the victim dead.
Leslie is accused of being impaired. Leslie was charged with 2nd degree murder, felony death by motor vehicle, and felony possession of a controlled substance.
The victim has not been identified.
