Ashley Gibson was eating a fat juicy steak at luxury restaurant in south Charlotte and had a few glasses of wine, next thing she knew she was in jail on a DWI offense
On July 26, 2026 Ashley Gibson, 45, was arrested accused of DWI on Nations Ford Rd. Charlotte, NC. Ashley resides in a luxury town home development.
On July 25th Ashley was out dining at a fancy steak restaurant, she had a fat juicy steak and a few glasses of fine wine. Ashley jumped in the car to drive home. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At some point she was stopped by police. Ashley told cops that she was driving home from a steak dinner. Officers observed a strong odor of alcohol emanating from Ashley along with slurred speech, unsteady gait and balance, and red glossy eyes.
Ashley told police that she had approximately 2 glasses of wine at dinner. Ashley took field sobriety tests and did not pass them. Ashley was arrested on scene charged with DWI. Ashley refused to provide a breath sample.
