32-year-old Courtney Reese was shot and killed on August 20, 2024 in Atlanta, GA. Courtney was a mother to 4 kids ages 13, 9, and 6, all girls and an 11-year-old son. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The victim was seen outside of a residence at 9:30 p.m. A black male approaches Courtney and begins firing multiple shots. Courtney was hit several times.
Courtney falls to the ground and the suspect runs off. An ambulance rushed Courtney to the hospital where she died.
No arrests have been made. Courtney’s sister Sametria Edwards-McCord was shot and killed in May 2024.
