27-year-old Niani Finlayson was fatally shot by cops in Los Angeles, CA on December 4, 2023. Niani was shot by members of The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Niani was at an apartment with her young daughter and boyfriend. Niani and her boyfriend were involved in a domestic dispute. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Police were called to the scene. When police arrived, yelling was heard from the apartment unit.
Cops knocked on the door, Niani came to the door with a knife and said,
“I am about to stab him because he just hit my baby”
Cops rushed inside and Niani approached her boyfriend with the knife in her hand, and motioned in a way to show she was ready to stab him.
Niani’s daughter was in the apartment and told cops the boyfriend hit her in the face.
Cops then shot Niani multiple times right in front of her daughter. Niani died on the scene.
