Watch this judge get banged up after she ruled for this man to go to prison
Clark County District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus was attacked by an inmate that she sent to prison. Deobra Redden, 30, attacked Judge Holthus on January 3, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Deobra was being sentenced for aggravated battery with substantial bodily harm from a situation that happened in 2023.
Deobra pleads to the judge that he should not be sent to prison because he is a good man and has a teamster job.
The judge doesn’t buy his plea to stay out of prison. The judge then says “I think you need a taste of something else, I just can’t let that history go.”
Deobra then yells “Fuck that, bitch!!” and runs up to the judge, jumps over the desk and pounces on her like a lion catches prey.
The suspect punches the judge multiple times and strangles her. Court security tries to pull Deobra off the judge, even the judge’s clerk jumps in the fight to pull the suspect off.
The clerk and cops are seen throwing useless punches on the suspect.
It takes several men to finally pull Deobra off the judge and out of the courtroom.
The judge is seen standing up and holding her head in pain. Cops escort her out of the court. Judge Holthus had to be taken to the hospital after the attack.
Deobra has a criminal history involving charges in both Nevada and Texas.
