Laticha Bracero, 42, and her daughter 21-year-old Alyssa Cordova were killed by a speeding vehicle on February 14, 2024 after attending a Drake concert in St. Louis, MO. The suspect is identified as 22-year-old Monte Henderson.
Laticha and her daughter had just attended a Drake concert and were crossing an intersection on foot to go home at 12:30 a.m.
As the women were crossing the street a speeding SUV ran a red light and collided with the female victims. The driver of the SUV was identified as Monte.
Laticha died at the scene, her daughter Alyssa died at the hospital.Cops say Monte was running red lights for several blocks and speeding in a Jeep Cherokee. Several other pedestrians were also injured in the crash.
Monte was arrested and charged with two counts of armed criminal action and involuntary manslaughter. However, Monte was released on bond.
