Watch as this cop was squirming after being shot in the leg
New video released in May 2025 shows a cop get shot in the leg by a suspect at a gas station in San Bernardino County California. The suspect was killed and is identified as 27-year-old Jorge Cardenas.
Cops were called to the gas station after Jorge was fighting with his girlfriend in 2023. As the officer calls for Jorge, the suspect walks inside the store and begins shooting.
The officer was shot multiple times, and at least once in the leg. The officer returns fire and misses. Jorge then runs out of the store firing more shots, the officer shoots again and kills Jorge. Videos of gas station shootings are common.
The sergeant fell to the ground after being shot and radioed in for help.
