Robert Thomas, 93, shot an office employee twice at his apartment complex in Las Vegas. The shooting was in January 2020 just one mile away from the famous Vegas strip. Robert was angry about water damage and flooding that was allegedly occurring inside his apartment unit.
Robert walked into the apartment office to complain about the water issues. Robert then pulls out a gun and fires a warning shot at a computer. Robert then fires a shot at a male officer worker, the employee is hit and falls down to the ground in pain.
Moments later Robert shoots the employee again. Another employee heard the shots and called 911. Police quickly arrive and fire one shot, but miss.
Robert was arrested and charged with attempted murder. The shot victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition and survived.
