MAN MURDERED ON LAKE WYLIE, TEENAGER ARRESTED

After a two-months long intensive investigation, York County Sheriff’s Detectives have made an arrest for the murder of 20-year-old Terron Hubert. Zi’Quavious Jkwon La’Travis Caldwell, 17, was taken into custody on August 6, 2022 at an apartment off Paces River Avenue in Rock Hill, SC.

Zi’Quavious is being charged as an adult with murder, armed robbery with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

On Monday, June 6, 2022 a person walking on a trail in Lake Wylie,SC and found Terron lying on the ground by the water of Lake Wylie dead. Deputies arrived and discovered the person appeared to have been shot several times.

From this investigation it is believed the shooting occurred after an argument. Zi’Quavious is accused of robbing Terron of money and personal items and then shooting him.

Zi’Quavious is being held at the York County Detention Center without bond. This case is still under investigation.
