John Morales, 15, died on June 2, 2022 after being shot in the head on Memorial Day weekend 2022 in Charlotte, NC.
John was shot on May 29, 2022 on 1st Run Ct. around 5 p.m. John was walking with friends to a swimming pool for some Memorial Day weekend fun. Another group of teenagers tried to rob John an his friends. The suspects shot John in the head.
John was rushed to the hospital with life threatening conditions. Even under emergency care, John died at the hospital.
On June 2, 2022, homicide detectives arrested two 15-year-old suspects for the murder of John.
Secure custody orders were obtained for both juveniles and they were transported to jail.
