TEENAGER MURDERED AT SHELL GAS STATION

18-year-old Jayla Barrett was shot and killed on April 14, 2022 in a homicide at a Shell gas station on 10308 Albemarle Rd. Charlotte, NC near the border of Mint Hill. 

Jayla was in the parking lot of the Shell gas station when she was shot and killed by another female around 5 in the afternoon.

Paramedics rushed to the scene, but Jayla was pronounced deceased on site. A woman was taken into custody for questioning, but no arrests have been made.
