A 14-year-old boy drowned on Monday May 22, 2023 at a pond in the Pine Island Country Club on Hickory Creek Road Charlotte, NC.
The teen was with friends in the pond. The victim became submerged in the water and his friends called 911 at 7 p.m.Emergency crews arrived and divers went into the water to search for the victim.
Divers found the victim in the water and he was quickly taken to the hospital. The boy was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
