A 16-year-old male juvenile is charged with the January 20, 2022 murder of 18-year-old Hailey Dominquez in Concord, NC. This is the second woman to be killed in Concord this week, Katilyn Ball, 26, died days earlier in the same area.
At 11:54 p.m. on January 20th officers from the Concord Police Department responded to apartments at 1405 Zered Pl. NW regarding an individual suffering from a gunshot wound.
Witnesses on scene stated that Hailey had been shot in an upstairs bedroom by a teenage juvenile. The juvenile responsible for the shooting was transported to police headquarters for questioning.
Hailey died at the scene. The juvenile has been charged with one count of murder and has been placed in the custody of juvenile authorities.
