On November 2, 2021 Dametrius Hilliard, 18, was charged with the murder of Daliamontray Strothers, 15. The victim was shot and killed on Fairwood Avenue Charlotte, NC.
Daliamontray was shot close to midnight on October 12, 2021, paramedics transported him to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
Sadly, just 2 days later, Daliamontray was pronounced deceased at the hospital, after undergoing emergency treatment and life saving measures.
The police Canine Unit and Aviation Unit assisted in finding and arresting the suspect. Dametrius is charged with murder, attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and three counts of shooting into occupied dwelling.
