Jasmine Wooten, 25, is a teacher at Harding University High School in Charlotte, NC. Jasmine was arrested on March 13, 2024 accused of kissing a student at the school.
Jasmine was a social studies teacher at the high school. After class in March 2024 she was accused of tongue kissing a male student that she allegedly liked.
The student was just 17-years-old. The student was bragging about the tongue kiss the next day to a friend at the school. A physical trainer at the school over heard the teenage conversation.
The trainer then notified the school principal and police on March 12, 2024.
The police Sexual Assault Unit was notified of the potential inappropriate relationship between the student and Jasmine.
Police spoke with the juvenile victim and later with Jasmine. Cops then obtained an arrest warrant on Jasmine and arrested her.
Jasmine is charged with indecent liberties with a student.
