SUSPECT KILLED DURING SHOOTOUT WITH POLICE AND ALCOHOL AGENTS, COP KILLED TOO

Jeremy Daniels, 29, was killed on December 16, 2020 during a wild shootout with police and North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement agents in Concord, NC. Officer Jason Shuping was also killed in the shooting.

Jeremy allegedly attempted to carjack a woman at a Sonic restaurant on Gateway Lane near the Concord Mills Mall. When officers arrived, Jeremy shot at the officers killing Officer Shuping and injuring several other officers.

Jeremy was shot and killed by return fire from officers. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation has taken over the investigation in this case.

Officer Shuping was a cop at the Concord Police Department.
