Darius Platt, 21, is charged with the murder of Ray Garlins, 41. On May 15, 2021 a homicide transpired on Finchley Drive Charlotte, NC around 1 in the morning.
Ray was shot to death near a residence and he was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Detectives with the real time crime center identified Darius as an electronic ankle monitoring participant. It was discovered that Darius was allegedly in the immediate area of the homicide location at the time of the shooting.
Darius was located and arrested by officers and charged with first degree murder.
