A shooting occurred at a Walmart Super Center on January 19, 2022. One man was shot during a dispute. The shooting was at the Walmart Super Center in Foothill Ranch, CA.
A group of people were trying to return items that Walmart says the people did not pay for at 9:40 p.m. The situation escalated and police were called. Cops confronted the group inside the Walmart, and one of the men allegedly pulled out a gun.
Police shot the man. Hundreds of customers were in the Walmart at the time of the shooting, and the loud gunfire caused chaos and mass hysteria. Customers began screaming, running for cover, and attempting to find the nearest exits.
There were several people with the man that sped away from the scene.
The man was rushed to a hospital by paramedics, where he underwent emergency surgery.
