An inmate at Alexander Correctional Institution in Taylorsville, NC was stabbed to death by another prisoner on the night of October 30, 2019, state officials say.
The victim identified by state officials is 33-year-old Christopher Parker. The victim was stabbed with a homemade weapon around 10 p.m. in a housing unit at the prison.
The name of the attacker hasn’t been released, or what led to the killing.
The housing unit where Christopher was killed remained on lock down as of Thursday morning.
