A pregnant woman was stabbed nearly to death by another woman at a busy Harris Teeter grocery store
On March 18, 2026 a pregnant woman was stabbed at the Harris Teeter parking lot in the Cotswold Village Shopping Center in Charlotte, NC. The pregnant woman was just 38 years old. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At 11 a.m. the pregnant woman was in the Harris Teeter parking lot loading groceries in her car with her toddler in the back seat. A woman parked behind her appeared out of no where and began using profanity at the victim.
The female suspect began stabbing the pregnant woman with a knife multiple times causing bleeding. The pregnant woman was even stabbed in the sternum and breasts.
The victim kicked and screamed, scaring the suspect off. The suspect ran. The victim called 911 and was taken to the hospital by ambulance and survived. The victim’s child in the car was taken by a family friend to safety.
The unborn baby is fine also. No suspects have been arrested.
