On June 9, 2022 one man died in a crash on Interstate 85 Charlotte, NC in the university area.
The victim was driving on the interstate when his car cut across the grass, struck a guardrail and came back onto the highway.
The victim was then struck by another vehicle. The man died at the scene. Interstate 85 was closed for hours as a result of the crash.
