On October 26, 2022 William Bobbitt, 73, was located deceased at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, NC. The park is near Sardis Road. There are no signs of foul play, and a cause of death is yet to be determined.
Mr. Bobbitt’s family has been notified of his death.
William left his residence on Summit Walk Dr. in Charlotte on October 24th. Police say William suffers from a cognitive impairment, and may have been lost and confused.
William was reported missing and he was not seen for days. On October 26th a investigative tip of some sort led cops to search McAlpine Creek Park, and William was found dead in the woods. Even dive teams went out to search for William.
