On Friday the school received a tip that there was a student on campus with a gun. The student was identified as Keyvon.
Keyvon was found by police and searched in class. The loaded gun was found on him.
Keyvon was arrested and charged with Handgun by Minor and Gun on Educational Property.
Rocky River High School went on a brief lock down due to the gun on campus.
The CMS superintendent plans to implement several security measures at area schools after winter break, which include metal detectors, searches, and more cameras.
