HIGH SCHOOL TEENAGER KILLS HIS PREGNANT GIRLFRIEND

Date:

16-year-old Mishawaka High School football player Aaron Trejo was charged as an adult in the death of his pregnant girlfriend, 17-year-old Breana Rouhselang. News outlets report that Breana was pregnant with Aaron’s baby.

Aaron was formally charged this week with two felonies, murder and feticide in Mishawaka, IN.

Breana was a cheerleader and softball player at Mishawaka High School.

An autopsy confirmed Breana died from multiple stab wounds, that her scarf had been tied so tightly that strangulation was occurring before she died and that she was pregnant.

Breana’s body was recovered Sunday from a dumpster behind a Mishawaka, IN, restaurant. Her family reported her missing just hours before her body was discovered.

Breana was 6 months pregnant at the time of her death. The baby died too.

Breana had gone to see Aaron shortly before her disappearance, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Aaron initially denied seeing Breana on Sunday night, but police said he later told them the two had a fight about her pregnancy. Aaron was angry because Breana didn’t tell him about the pregnancy until she could no longer get an abortion.

Aaron admitted to stabbing Breana in the heart with a knife he brought from home and that he had been planning to kill the victim and baby for about a week prior to the incident.

Aaron faces life in prison.
