NORTH CAROLINA GOVERNOR RACE, JOSH STEIN EXPECTED TO BEAT MARK ROBINSON

On November 5, 2024 Election Day 2024 North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein is expected to be the next governor of North Carolina as a democrat, after being declared the winner by the AP over republican opponent Mark Robinson. Mark is the current Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina. 

As of election night Josh Stein has 1,190,755 votes at 54.2% and Mark Robinson has 900,496 at 41.0%.

Mark Robinson is a native of Greensboro N.C. and a Army veteran. Mark made headlines after making pro slavery comments and saying that he does not support reparations for black people.

Mark is also against abortion, even in rape and life threatening medical emergency situations for the woman. 

Mark was also accused by CNN of making pro black nazi statements on an website several years ago. North Carolina has elected a democratic governor for the last 3 races.
