On March 8, 2025 twin brothers Qaadir Lewis and Nazir Lewis were found dead on Bell Mountain in Towns County, GA near the NC border. The twins were just 19-years-old. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The brothers had booked a flight to Boston for 7 a.m. on March 7, 2025 but never made their flight.
Just 24 hours later Qaadir and Nazir were found dead at the top of Bell Mountain by hikers and hunters. The hiker radioed in to emergency communications stating that 2 males had been shot dead.
Paramedics, mountain rangers, and police responded to the scene. The plane tickets of the twins were found in their wallets.
The case is being investigated, but cops say this was a murder suicide. The family of the twins disputes that claim, saying the twins would never commit suicide.
