A mom was gunned down and killed in front of her baby at Publix, her ex boyfriend was arrested
Shyla Cummings, 25, was murdered at a Publix grocery store in Atlanta, GA in front of her 7-month-old baby on May 6, 2026. Isiah Tarver, 23, is Shyla’s ex-boyfriend and is accused of murdering her.
Shyla was in the parking lot of the Publix when she was shot dead in front of her baby girl. Isiah is accused of shooting Shyla. Isiah is then accused of shooting himself.
Isiah was rushed to the hospital and he survived. Isiah is now charged with murder. Isiah and Shyla were in and out of a relationship over the years. The baby was not hurt.
