MOTHER AND HER 3 CHILDREN MURDERED BY HUSBAND, 5 DEAD

46-year-old Athalia Crayton and her children Kasin Crayton, 18, Nyla Crayton, 16, and Nasir Crayton, 10, were all murdered by 45-year-old Robert Crayton in High Point, NC on January 7, 2023. Robert and Athalia were married. 

Around 7 a.m. Robert let off several gunshots inside the home he shared with his wife and kids. Authorities say Robert shot and killed Athalia, Kasin, Nyla, and Nasir. 2 other people were able to run out of the house and escape death. 

Neighbors heard screams and gunshots from the home and called 911. The 2 victims that escaped ran to knock on doors for help. Police officers arrived and found Athalia, Kasin, Nyla, and Nasir shot dead. 

Robert was found shot dead also. Cops say Robert killed himself via a self inflicted gunshot to the head before police got to the house.   

Robert was a small time actor that played minor roles in several movies. Robert struggled with mental illness and police had been called to the home several times over the years.
