A 76-year-old man that enjoyed fishing was missing for days, and then found dead
Emanuel Cheek, 76, was found dead at a home on The Plaza Road Charlotte, NC.
Emanuel was missing for days. However, on April 1, 2026 he was found dead at approximately 12 p.m., in a residence on The Plaza Road.
Officers responded to an attempt to locate call at the home. Upon arrival, officers discovered Emanuel deceased.
This is classified as a death investigation and not a murder. It should be noted that the investigation can change at anytime if new evidence is presented. Emanuel liked to fish.
