MISSING MAN FOUND DEAD WITH ANOTHER DEAD BODY, WORKED AT FINISH LINE STORE

36-year-old Cedric Watts was found dead on Green Needles Court Charlotte, NC at apartments on December 27, 2023, there was also a second dead body next to Cedric. 5 people total were found dead today across Charlotte in a combination of homicides, 2 double shootings, and missing person investigations.

Cedric had been missing for days. He was last seen on December 20th getting in an Uber to an unknown location. Cedric formerly worked at Finish Line at the now imploded Eastland Mall. Cedric also worked at Convergys. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Cedric went to East Mecklenburg High School and then went on to NC A&T University.

 Upon Cedric being reported missing, detectives tracked where his Uber was scheduled to take him.

During the early afternoon hours of December 27th detectives responded to Green Needles Court in an attempt to locate Cedric. 

Upon arrival, detectives located Cedric and another deceased victim. No foul play is suspected yet.

Earlier today 2 juvenile victims were shot and killed, another victim was killed in a homicide.
