MAN SOLD FENTANYL IN CHARLOTTE, PLEADS GUILTY

On June 28, 2024 Antonio Stukes, 33, was ordered to serve 61 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release for trafficking fentanyl in Charlotte, NC.

In October 2022 law enforcement learned that Antonio was trafficking fentanyl in and around the Charlotte area. Law enforcement initiated an investigation. 

Over the course of the investigation, law enforcement arranged several controlled buys of fentanyl from Antonio. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

The investigation led to the identification of Antonio’s fentanyl supplier (also known as the plug) and several additional co-conspirators. Antonio was arrested in April 2023.

Antonio has a lengthy criminal history, including a 2014 federal conviction for possession of a firearm by a felon. 

On January 25, 2024, Antonio pleaded guilty to distribution of fentanyl and aiding and abetting. In June 2024 a federal judge sentenced Antonio to 61 months in prison.
