Santario Washington, 31, was released from the hospital and arrested on September 28, 2023 after Elizabeth Washington, 41, was killed in a roll over crash in Charlotte, NC. Elizabeth died on the day of the crash September 23, 2023.
Cops say Santario was driving a Jaguar vehicle on The Plaza in Charlotte at a high speed. Elizabeth was a passenger in the car.
Paramedics arrived and pronounced Elizabeth dead on scene. Santario was transported to Atrium Health Main hospital with life threatening injuries. Santario spent several days in the hospital. After his medical release Santario was arrested charged with felony death by motor vehicle and reckless driving.
