Newly released video shows Jack in The Box worker Alonniea Ford shooting at customers in the drive-thru over an argument regarding curly fries in Houston, Texas.
The encounter occurred in March 2021, but the video was just released as the family is filing a lawsuit against Jack in The Box.
At 11:30 p.m. Anthony Ramos his wife, and young child went to the drive thru at Jack in The Box to get a quick meal.
The family ordered a few cheese burger meals, but the curly fries were missing from the order.
Anthony informed the restaurant employees that the fries were missing. Instead of just giving the family the missing fries, Jack in The Box employees began arguing and disputing with the family.
Alonniea is seen throwing food condiments at Anthony and his family. Anthony then throws a milk shake at Alonniea.
Instead of walking away, Alonniea then pulls out a gun and fires it at the family, Anthony is seen speeding away, while Alonniea leans out the window and continues to point the gun at the family.
Alonniea was arrested after the incident, she was also fired from Jack in The Box. Now Anthony and his wife are filing a lawsuit against Jack in The Box for Alonniea’s actions.
The family contends that Jack in The Box has poor training and poor selection of the employees they hire, with inadequate background checks.
Even with video proof of the Jack in the Box employee firing a gun at the victim family, attorneys for the restaurant deny the allegations.
