Timothy Johnson, 24, was arrested in a plot involving prostituting two underage girls. There were also claims of rape. The victims were discovered at the Relax Inn on North Tryon St. Charlotte, NC. But the girls were doing anything but relaxing while experiencing this ordeal.
In April 2019 Timothy pled guilty to indecent liberties with a child and attempted promotion of prostitution. He was sentenced to 46-68 months in prison. Upon his release from prison, he must register as a sex offender for 30 years.
In 2018 Timothy convinced run away 14 and 15 year-old girls to sell sex to grown men, both online and on the streets of Charlotte.
Timothy kept all the money that the girls made and provided poor shelter with sub quality food at the Relax Inn at 6426 North Tryon St.
The girls were also allegedly raped by Timothy on repeated occasions.
An employee at the Relax Inn became suspicious after noticing increased traffic from the room the girls were staying at.
Police were called and upon investigation Timothy was arrested. The girls were taken to protective custody.
