Tulvel McDougald, 27, was shot and killed by a male on the Martin Luther King holiday; a day that is meant to celebrate peace.
This killing was recently justified by top prosecutors in Charlotte.
The justified shooting occurred on Great Laurel Road Charlotte, NC on Monday January 21, 2019.
Officers responded to a domestic violence assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival, officers located Tulvel inside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound. Medic pronounced Tulvel deceased on scene.
Responding officers detained a person of interest at the residence and he cooperated with detectives. No additional suspects were sought by detectives at the time.
There is no indication we have on why the shooting death of Tulvel was justified.
