A man was shot and killed on August 24, 2022 at the Shell gas station on the intersection of West Sugar Creek Road and Reagan Drive in Charlotte, NC. The area is known for prostitution and violence.
Around 12:15 a.m. a fight between multiple people broke out at the gas station. Someone then began shooting a gun multiple times. A male victim was shot.
People began running. Paramedics later arrived on scene and gave the male victim emergency treatment. Cops arrived and blocked off traffic and set up yellow crime scene tape.
The male victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased shortly afterwards.
No arrests have been made, but CCTV footage is being reviewed.
