Saivon Lockhart, 17, was shot and killed on July 8, 2023 on North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC. Savion had just graduated from South Meck High School in Charlotte. This is the second South Meck High School student to be killed in a week, Keith Austin, 16, died while swimming in Lake Norman on July 1, 2023.
Savion was shot and killed in a wild homicide on North Tryon Street at 8:30 p.m. Paramedics arrived on scene and pronounced Savion deceased on the scene.
No arrests have been made. Just an hour before Savion was murdered, another victim was killed in a homicide on Turtle Point Road in Charlotte.
