2 homicides transpired on July 8, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. The first was on Turtle Point Road. The second homicide was on North Tryon Street.
Shortly before 7:00 p.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call on Turtle Point Road. Two victims were transported using private vehicles to area hospitals.
One victim was pronounced deceased upon arrival to the hospital and the second victim has non life threatening injuries.
An hour later around 8:30 p.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call on North Tryon Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim with a gunshot wound. Medic pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
At this point it is not known if the murders are related.
