Detectives are conducting a homicide investigation that occurred on North Caldwell St. Charlotte, NC on September 19, 2021 around 3 a.m.
Officers responded to an armed robbery 911 call. A male victim sustained gunshot injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Detectives are currently interviewing the involved parties of the shooting and are not looking for additional suspects. The CMPD’s Operations Command, Victim Services and the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Homicide Prosecution Team responded to assist.
