MAN KILLED IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE, WAS FRIENDS WITH MISSING WOMAN THAT WAS FOUND DEAD

A man identified as Sean Crocker was murdered in a double homicide that occurred on March 30, 2025 on Welling Avenue Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. The pictured dead male victim was friends with Tahaley Payton who went missing in November 2024 and she was later found dead in a lake.

Around 7 p.m. on March 30th the male victim and another person were shot and killed in a double murder. The victims were taken to the hospital where they died.

No arrests were made. The victim was close friends with Tahaley Payton and even attended her funeral.

Tahaley was from South Carolina, she was in Charlotte celebrating her birthday when she was kicked out the car by her boyfriend and left in the cold. She was found dead weeks later, she died from hypothermia.
