Chereeta Mckoy was found dead in a T-shirt and underwear, she just ordered food delivery, her boyfriend was in shock

Chereeta died on March 23, 2024 with a known medical history significant for hypertension and obesity.

Chereeta was found by her boyfriend unresponsive on her bed in their Charlotte apartment on Keaton Ave. in the morning.

First responders arrived and pronounced Chereeta deceased at the scene after attempting to make resuscitative efforts. Chereeta was wearing a T-shirt and underwear.

Chereeta had no obvious trauma and there was no foul play or illegal drug use.

She was last known alive by her boyfriend approximately 90 minutes earlier when she ordered food delivery. Chereeta told her boyfriend that she was having a stomach virus.

Medical officials determined Chereeta died from Hypertensive and ischemic cardiovascular disease.
