MAN ARRESTED AFTER VICTIM MURDERED AT APARTMENTS

Detectives have charged David Caldwell, 23, with the murder of 24-year-old Juwan Hernandez, the suspect was arrested on March 17, 2022. The victim was shot and killed on March 7, 2022 in Charlotte, NC.

David is charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Juwan was shot on Springfield Gardens Drive at 3 a.m. The victim was driven to Novant Matthews Hospital immediately upon being shot by personal vehicle.

After emergency life saving efforts, Juwan was pronounced deceased by hospital staff just before 4 a.m.
