2 Chains is accused of robbing Walgreens in south Charlotte
Dorian Brinson, 35, is accused of robbing the Walgreens store located at 4701 South Blvd. Charlotte, NC while wearing 2 gold chains. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The robbery was in June 2024. A suspect armed with a large knife confronted Walgreen employees at the store and threatened to stab them as he was stealing items from the business.
The suspect then left the location with the merchandise. Dorian matched the description of the suspect and was spotted by police in the area.
Officers placed the defendant in custody. Fentanyl was allegedly found on Dorian. He was charged with armed robbery and trafficking fentanyl. Peculiar enough, the suspect is accused of robbing the Walgreens while wearing 2 gold chains. The suspect took a mugshot with the gold chains on.
