On May 24, 2024 Simone Williams, 26, Nicholas Goolsby, 39, and Brandi Goolsby, 36, were found dead in a Statesville, NC home. The triple shooting was deemed a murder suicide on Memorial Day weekend 2024. Cops say Nicholas killed the women and then committed suicide. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The shooting occurred at a home in the afternoon. Authorities say Nicholas shot Brandi and Simone inside the home. The 2 women died on scene.
A ten-month-old baby was inside the home too but was not injured. Nicholas then shot and killed himself, according to police.
The shots were heard by neighbors and 911 was called. Once on scene, cops found Nicholas, Simone, and Brandi dead. Memorial Day weekend murders are rampant.
Police found the baby in a room untouched. The baby was taken to the hospital for evaluation and released into the custody of family members.
There is no indication as to what led up to the shooting.
