Krina Patel Pressley, 36, is the head principal at Harris Road Middle School in Concord, NC. Krina was arrested on January 3, 2026 charged with drunk driving in Huntersville, NC. Krina is Indian and was placed on administrative leave after her arrest. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

The arresting officer from the Huntersville Police Department pulled Krina over near Ramah Church Road. The cop saw Krina cross the center line and make numerous more lane failures and left of center violations.
The officer claimed that Krina’s speech was slow and slurred and that she fumbled one of her documents. Karina said she had one drink but her breath smelled like liquor Hennessy and Alize.

A alcohol breath test was administered and Krina measured a 0.14 blood alcohol concentration. The North Carolina legal limit is 0.08.
Krina was arrested charged with DWI. Krina became the new principal of Harris Road Middle School in September 2025.

Cabarrus County Schools made the following statement regarding Krina’s arrest:
“Cabarrus County Schools is aware of the allegations against Krina Patel, the principal at Harris Road Middle School. She is currently on administrative leave pending further review. We have no further comment on this personnel matter.”
Krina began her educational journey at the University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor’s in Education. She taught 3rd grade in Charleston, SC for the first 5 years of her career, while obtaining her Master’s in Education Administration from Charleston Southern University and becoming National Board Certified.
She later transitioned to Cabarrus County Schools where she has served as an elementary school teacher, middle and high school assistant principal, and elementary principal. Krina was born in York Town Heights, New York.
