A Home Depot employee embezzled $1.2 million in cash from a Home Depot in San Rafael, CA. On October 17, 2023 cops received a call from Home Depot regarding an female employee who embezzled approximately $1.2 million.Through Home Depot’s internal investigation into the embezzlement, they determined the suspect had been taking cash from the business since August 2022.The suspect admitted to taking cash from Home Depot since last year. The suspect had over $8,000.00 in her possession when she was arrested.The suspect was arrested and booked at the Marin County Jail for felony embezzlement charges. Cops also searched the suspect’s home and found cash along with designer merchandise.
