Deontray Love, 19, was killed during a shooting near apartments in Charlotte, NC. Damion Baxter, 45, is charged with Deontray’s murder.
On October 12, 2019 Deontray was involved in a confrontation with several individuals. The argument started at the Fast Mart located at 7020 Lawyers Road and later continued near the intersection of North Idlewild Road at Snow Lane which is where Deontray was shot and killed. The suspects then fled the scene.
Two murders occurred in Charlotte in less than 8 hours of each other.
