Group home owners are very strict and picky. A group home employee is accused of sex crimes with teen resident
30-year-old Marcus Bowser was arrested on April 15, 2026. He works at United Family Network Group Home and is accused of sex crimes with a teen girl that lived in the group home in Angier, NC. The victim was a 15-year-old girl living in the group home as a foster child.

The alleged sex crimes happened on April 17, 2025 inside the group home. Court documents say from April 2025 to June 2025 the suspect sexually assaulted the teen girl at the group home on multiple occasions.
The teen girl went to police to tell in June 2025. An investigation was launched and it took nearly a year for Marcus to be arrested.
In April 2026 Marcus was arrested charged with four counts of a sex act by a private institution employee, four counts of sexual servitude with a child victim, four counts of statutory sex offense with a child age 15 or younger, and indecent liberties with a child.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services website shows United Family Network is licensed by the Division of Health Service Regulation. It provides treatment for juveniles.
