A murder occurred at a group home on Swearngan Road Charlotte, NC on January 4, 2024. This is Charlotte’s first murder of the new year 2024.
The homicide started with a physical altercation at the home between the kid and the adult at 7:15 p.m., officers responded to an assault call.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the adult victim dead. The juvenile suspect had fled the scene, but cops were able to arrest the suspect within an hour of the homicide.
